DIGITAL SEWING PATTERN
Pattern and sewing instructions to make your own folk costume bodice! Instructions include how to adapt the pattern for your specific body shape.
Folk costume bodice from Jösse härad, Värmland, Sweden in the 18-19th century. The bodice that was used on top of a linen chemise and a wool shirt together with an apron.
The same type of bodice was also used in Nordmark.
Fabric recomandations:
Vadmal (melton), kläde (broadcloth like our german wool M) , kalmink, wool damask or wool brocade.
Fabric length:
0,5-1m depending on fabric width and size.
Sizes:EU sizes 32-63 (xxS-6xL)
Printing:
The printing can be made on a regular A4 printer. Please note that laser printers don´t print to the edges and that printers can print different sizes. Printer (settings) instructions are included with a ruler so you can test print the page before the pattern.
